Yami Gautam got hitched to Aditya Dhar on June 4 in 2021 at a private wedding. The couple shocked everybody with their wedding pictures on social media. Yami and Aditya looked absolutely stunning in their wedding attires and had a dreamy Bollywood wedding! The two got flooded with several messages from their fans and friends on social media too! Yami Gautam was born in a Hindu Brahmin family in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and was brought up in Chandigarh. Her father Mukesh Gautam is a Punjabi film director. Her mother is Anjali Gautam. She has a younger sister Surilie Gautam, who made her big screen debut with the Punjabi film Power Cut. She did her regular schooling, and later entered college to pursue a graduate degree in law honours. She had aspired to join Indian Administrative Services (IAS) as a young girl, but at the age of 20, decided to venture into an acting career. Though she was pursuing studies in Law Honors (first-year PU Student of law), she left full-time studies for acting. Recently, she has been doing her part-time graduation from Mumbai. The ‘Vicky Donor’ actress started off her acting journey through television with the NDTV show ‘Chaand Ke Paar Chalo’. She further did shows like ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’, ‘Kitchen Champion’ Season 1 etc. Yami made her big screen debut with Kannada film ‘Ullasa Utsaha’ and not Vicky Donor! Besides Bollywood, Yami has acted in Kannada, Telugu, Punjabi, Malayalam and Tamil films! Other than acting, the 30-year-old is fond of interior decoration, travelling and listening to music. Yami Gautam is a environment and animal lover. A few months ago, the actress set up her own greenhouse and organic garden in her Himachal house. Yami doesn’t like to bind herself in four walls.
