ONEUS’ Seoho’s Appearance in Produce X 101
Did you know about Seoho before his debut with ONEUS? Maybe you already know what Produce 101 is. The survival reality show program that aired on Mnet is really famous and it has formed both boy groups and girl groups. Produce 101 Season 1 gave birth to the girl group I.O.I, while Season 2 gave birth to the boy group Wanna One. In 2017, Seoho was one of the contestants of the program but he used his real name, Lee Gun Min as his stage name, and he was from RBW Entertainment. Seoho entered grade D, and then he moved to grade F. Even though Seoho didn’t get much screen time, he was still passionate about competing at the time. This is because of the fans who always made him excited. But in the 5th episode, unfortunately, he had to be eliminated with the final rank 94th. Even though he had to go home, he was quite satisfied with his performance. Moreover, he got a lot of attention when performing “Boy in Luv” by BTS with his team!
ONEUS’s Seoho in MIXNINE
Who doesn’t know MIXNINE! All K-Pop fans are certainly familiar with the program. MIXNINE is a survival reality show program that airs on JTBC. Through this program, former YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun-suk debuted a group to become a new idol. Seoho was also a contestant on this talent search program in 2017. Seoho still used the same stage name as when he was a contestant on Produce X 101, namely Lee Gun Min. During the audition, he sang Bruno Mars’ song “When I Was Your Man”. Seoho entered into grade B with several trainees from other agencies as well as his fellow RBW Entertainment trainees namely, Park Hyeon-gyu and Lee Jae-joon. Seoho performed “Stand By Me” with his team named, 9great! But again and again, Seoho didn’t manage to get into the top 9 to debut. He had to be eliminated in the 13th episode with the final rank 17. Even so, he managed to get to the last episode before the final round.
Seoho’s Debut with ONEUS
Seoho officially debuted as a member of the ONEUS group in 2019, or more precisely on January 9th, 2019. ONEUS officially debuted with 6 members namely Xion, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, Leedo, Ravn, and also Seoho. The group debuted by releasing their first Extended Play (EP) titled Light Us and “Valkyrie” which is their lead single. On December 26th, 2018, through ONEUS’s YouTube Channel, they also released Seoho’s intro trailer: Light Us. In that video, he sings the song “Light Us” which is one of the tracks from their first EP.
In his group, Seoho has an important position as the main vocalist. With his sweet voice, he can make their songs and music come alive. Seoho and his group performed on various weekly music programs to promote their group, and they made their hot debut stage on Music Bank on January 11th, 2019. Here is the video!
ONEUS’ Seoho Got Injured
On March 24th, 2020, ONEUS released their first single album In Its Time. They then promoted their single album while at various music shows, such as the MBC Music Show! Champion. ONEUS appeared on Weekly Idol. Through daum.cafe, they announced that Seoho couldn’t participate in the dance performing their songs in Music Show! Champion.
