About The Show
Unpretty Rapstar (Hangeul: 언프리티 랩스타) is a South Korean rap competition TV show that was broadcast by Mnet. This music reality show has run for three season and has released three compilation albums.
Unpretty Rapstar 1
Unpretty Rapstar started in 2015, and is a South Korean music competition program focusing on female rappers. This music program launched in January 2015 on Mnet, and was hosted by Korean rapper San E. The winner of this first season was Cheetaah. The first runner-up was Jessi, who is a former Lucky J member. The second runner-up was Yuk Ji-dam, who was a Show Me The Money 3 contestant. These were the remaining semi-finalists:

Some of the contestants that eliminated were Tymee (eliminated in episode 6), Jace, a member of Miss $, joined in episode 4 but was eliminated in episode 6, and Lil Cham, who was eliminated in episode 4.

Unpretty Rapstar 2
Unpretty Rapstar 2 is the second season of the Unpretty Rapstar series which aired on Mnet. This music show premiered on September 11, 2015. The contestants were also already either members of K-pop idol groups or solo artists. On this season, the winner was Truedy (Signed with MNET before the show, and was a former SMTM6 contestant). The first runner-up was KittiB (rapper signed with Brand New Music after the show ended), and the second runner-up was Hyorin (a former member of Sistar). The third runner-up was Moon Sua (former YG Entertainment Trainee). Those who became semi-finalists were Heize, Yubin (former Wonder Girls member), Jeon Jiyoon (former 4Minute member), and Yezi (former Fiestar member). The contestants that were eliminated were Kasper (former Play the Siren member, SMTM4 and SMTM6 contestant), who got eliminated in episode 8, Exy of Cosmic Girls, who joined in episode 6 and was eliminated in episode 8, Kim of Rubber Soul, (The Unit contestant) who was eliminated in episode 7, Gilme of Clover, who was eliminated in episode 5, Ahn Soo Min, who was a SMTM4 contestant and was eliminated in episode 3, and Ash-B, who was a SMTM5 contestant and who was eliminated in episode 3. On this second season, Truedy had issue because she often dressed in “African American Hip Hop” fashion, wearing her hair in braids/corn rows, and wearing darker makeup. She was accused of physically and vocally copying Yoon Mi rae, the South Korean rapper who was born to a Korean mother and an African-American father.

Unpretty Rapstar 3
Unpretty Rapstar 3 launched in 2016 as third edition of the South Korean music competition program focusing on female rappers. This third session was hosted by rapper and producer YDG, and the winner of the competition was Giant Pink. Winner: Giant Pink (SMTM5 contestant) First runner-up: Nada (former Wa$$up member, SMTM3 contestant) The Semifinalists were Jeon Soyeon of Cube Entertainment (who was former Produce 101 contestant and now (G)I-DLE member), who was eliminated in episode 9, and Ash-B (Unpretty Rapstar 2 contestant, SMTM5 contestant), who was eliminated in episode 9. There were also the quarter-finalists, Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls, (SMTM producer) eliminated in episode 9, and Yuk Ji-dam, who competed as an Unpretty Rapstar 1 contestant and SMTM3 contestant. Moreover, the other eliminated contestants were Euna Kim (former The Ark member, Superstar K3 contestant, The Unit contestant, KHAN member), eliminated in episode 8, Grace, who is a YouTube Vlogger and soloist, who got eliminated in episode 8, Ha Jooyeon, who is a former Jewelry member and SMTM5 contestant, who was eliminated in episode 6, Janey, who is a former GP Basic member, SMTM5 contestant, and The Unit contestant, and got eliminated in episode 6, Kool Kid, who is a K-pop Star 4 contestant, got eliminated in episode 5, and Kassy was eliminated in episode 3.
